This is part of one of my favorite series, the author just keeps getting better and better. I waited for months for this book, that's how captivating the series is. I absolutely loved this book, its a must read.
K.C was a character who was misunderstood in the other novels, but you finally get to hear her story, and the chick is pretty kickass.
Jax, well Jax....Jax is a badass, no words can really describe him, so when he and K.C come together you know its going to be one incredible read. So cheers to Mrs. Douglas, she did it again!
As a 21 year old, recent graduate that has no idea what to do with her life, I felt as if the novel was often speaking directly to me. Especially about entering adulthood: responsibility, choices, how thought out plans don't often come through, changing your mind about what you want to do with the rest of your life, accepting yourself for who you want to be not how others want you to be. I interpreted the novel as more than a contemporary romance novel-- as a coming-of-age story.
